Independent Living Program

The Independent Living program allows individuals to have the option to choose to live in their home or community setting, with emphasis on community based supports and services. This includes such services as information and referral sources; independent living skills training; peer support; system and individual advocacy; youth transitioning from education to employment as well as nursing home transitions for consumers who want to return to community living or who need the supports and services to continue living in their own home; and other independent living services.
