High school students in East Baton Rouge Parish can meet with potential employers and get the COVID vaccine this weekend. Students have the chance to win door prizes just by attending. Representatives from the Baton Rouge Fire Department, Acadian Ambulance, BREC, and other local employers will be available to meet with students about prospective careers. Students will also have the opportunity to explore a number of the LWC’s apprenticeship programs for equipment operators, electricians, and plumbers. Register here!
