Workforce Partners
Workforce Partners is a new program of the Louisiana Workforce Commission that recognizes businesses that are engaged in creating and deploying a “job ready” workforce in Louisiana. Companies receiving the award have demonstrated their commitment to supporting the workforce solutions of the commission.
Levels of participation
The program has three levels of participation:
  • Associate
  • Partner
  • Investor
Qualifying criteria are currently being finalized.

Depending on the level of participation, businesses in the Workforce Partners program enjoy a number of services including:
  • Free job postings
  • Job fairs and networking opportunities
  • Use of local office facilities
  • Labor market information
  • Online services
  • Personal account management
  • Procactive recruitment
  • Training opportunities
  • Publicity
Businesses should contact a Business Services Representative at their local Business & Careers Solutions Center to learn more.
Partner agencies
The state’s new demand-driven workforce development system now under way integrates training programs, support services and employment services across government agencies into a cohesive, more efficient system.
A number of state agencies are working with the Louisiana Workforce Commission in the development of workforce solutions:

  • Department of Education
  • Department of Public Safety and Corrections
  • Department of Social Services
