Chris Broadwater is Director of the Office of Workers' Compensation for the Louisiana Workforce Commission.

Broadwater received a Bachelor of Arts degree in sociology from Louisiana College in Pineville, a Master of Divinity from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary in New Orleans, a Juris Doctor and Bachelor of Civil Law from the Paul M. Hebert School of Law at Louisiana State University.

After receiving his law degree from LSU, Broadwater practiced with the Baton Rouge defense firm of Forrester, Jordan & Dick prior to forming the Baton Rouge firm of Jordan & Broadwater where he practiced until his appointment as Director.
