Trey LeBlanc
William H. "Trey" LeBlanc is chief of staff for the Executive Director of the Louisiana Workforce Commission.
LeBlanc's previous experience includes both private sector and senior-level federal government experience. Most recently he was director of business development and distribution with EATEL Sunshine Pages. In this position he directed the strategic planning, development and implementation of growth for 12 markets, as well as the distribution of 1.4 million print directories. He was also president and general manager of Baton Rouge Supply Co.
He was appointed by President Ronald Reagan to serve as a U.S. postal rate commissioner. He heard testimony in large, highly complicated hearings designed to yield billions of dollars in revenue for the postal service. He developed proposals and testified before Congress regularly and maintained a working knowledge of all aspects of postal operations.
LeBlanc earned a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from LSU. He is an honorably discharged veteran of the United States Marine Corps.
