Carey Foy serves as chief of staff for the Louisiana Workforce Commission. In that role, he is responsible for LWC performance improvement activities and coordinates efforts within the agency to achieve its priorities.
Foy joined LWC in August 2009 with more than 30 years’ experience in organizational development/cultures, including governmental, corporate and military. His expertise includes team building, change management and strategic planning, and he has served as an instructor and coach in a variety of leadership and management development roles.
Prior to joining LWC, he was a partner in Wilkinson, Foy LLC, a Louisiana-based firm that provides organizational culture and development consulting services nationwide to clients in the nuclear power, petrochemical and healthcare industries. He is chairman of the board of directors for the National Association of Employee Concerns Professionals.
His educational background includes a bachelor’s degree from Marshall University and a master of arts in teaching degree from Mississippi State University.
