MONROE – The Louisiana Workforce Commission’s Rapid Response Team will begin holding orientation sessions next week for employees who will be laid off from Accent Marketing as a result of decreased inbound call volume at the contact center.
The first round of sessions is for temporary employees. Sessions for other employees will follow in late February.
Sessions will be held at 10 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. on Jan. 15 and 29 and Feb. 5 and 17. Scheduling will be handled by Accent Marketing officials.
The sessions will take place at the company’s facility at 22 Accent Drive, Suite 100 in Monroe.
Orientation sessions are designed to inform affected employees about the services available to them through the LWC’s Rapid Response Unit.
Workforce Commission services are offered at no cost to the employer and participating employees.
