2010 Employment Rate Press Release Schedule

BATON ROUGE - The Louisiana Workforce Commission (LWC) has assembled a tentative 2010 schedule of statewide, metropolitan statistical area (MSA), and parish employment rates press releases.

Employment statistics for January 2010 will be released on March 12, 2010, because LWC will be fulfilling a federal Bureau of Labor Statistics requirement to benchmark data from the prior two years at the beginning of 2010.

Listed release dates are target dates and are subject to change.

January 27, 2010 – Statewide, MSA, and Parish Employment Rates for December 2009

March 12, 2010 – Statewide, MSA, and Parish Employment Rates for January 2010

March 31, 2010 – Statewide, MSA, and Parish Employment Rates for February 2010

April 23, 2010 – Statewide, MSA, and Parish Employment Rates for March 2010

May 25, 2010 – Statewide, MSA, and Parish Employment Rates for April 2010

June 25, 2010 – Statewide, MSA, and Parish Employment Rates for May 2010

July 23, 2010 – Statewide, MSA, and Parish Employment Rates for June 2010

August 25, 2010 – Statewide, MSA, and Parish Employment Rates for July 2010

September 24, 2010 – Statewide, MSA, and Parish Employment Rates for August 2010

October 27, 2010 – Statewide, MSA, and Parish Employment Rates for September 2010

November 24, 2010 – Statewide, MSA, and Parish Employment Rates for October 2010
