La. Workforce Commission Providing Services to Steve Hoyle Rehabilitation Center Workers in Tallulah

TALLULAH – The Louisiana Workforce Commission’s Rapid Response Team will open an onsite transition center to provide services for the 105 workers who will be laid off at the end of the month from the Steve Hoyle Rehabilitation Center in Tallulah.

The transition center will be open on Wednesday, July 22, and Thursday, July 23, from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. The center will be located at 1005 West Green Street in Tallulah.

Services to be provided include job placement assistance, job counseling, job search workshops, labor market information, résumé preparation assistance, interview preparation, online job search assistance, veterans’ assistance information, occupational retraining, trade adjustment assistance, debt counseling, out-of-area job search assistance, relocation assistance, on-the-job training, unemployment insurance and other supportive services as needed.

Workforce Commission services are offered at no cost to the employer and participating employees.
