DODSON – The Louisiana Workforce Commission’s Rapid Response Team will hold an orientation session Tuesday, March 31, for the 136 employees of Weyerhaeuser’s Dodson mill who lost their jobs earlier this month. The mill produced veneer and plywood products.

The session will be at 10 a.m. at the Jackson Parish Community Center, 182 Industrial Drive in Jonesboro.

Orientation sessions are designed to inform affected employees about the services available to them through the LWC’s Rapid Response Unit.

Workforce Commission services are offered at no cost to the employer and participating employees.
