BERWICK – The Louisiana Workforce Commission’s Rapid Response Team will be in Berwick Monday, March 30, to conduct orientation sessions for the 50 employees of National Wheel-O-Vator who will lose their jobs at the end of April when the company consolidates its operations. The company, with headquarters in Illinois, manufactures and sells residential elevators and wheelchair lifts.
Sessions will be held at 9 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. at the Berwick facility at 3446 Hwy. 182 East.
Orientation sessions are designed to inform affected employees about the services available to them through the LWC’s Rapid Response Unit.
Workforce Commission services are offered at no cost to the employer and participating employees.
