Delmar Systems to recruit offshore riggers at Webster Career Solutions Center

MINDEN – Delmar Systems, Inc. will recruit offshore riggers from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 8 at Webster Career Solutions Center at 310 Homer Road.

Delmar provides mooring solutions for the oil and gas industry and has immediate openings for offshore riggers to work on the back of vessels that retrieve and set anchors for drilling units and deep-water production vessels.

No previous experience is required, but applicants must have a high school diploma or GED, a stable work history and a valid driver’s license with a good driving record.

The successful candidate must be able to swim and perform strenuous heavy work levels and weight lifting requirements as part of a pre-employment physical fitness test. All candidates must complete a physical examination and submit to pre-employment and random drug testing.

Estimated starting annual salary for offshore riggers is $40,000. Delmar Systems offers a competitive benefits package, a retirement savings plan and bonus programs based on safety, performance and availability.
