NEW ORLEANS – Wal-Mart will recruit workers from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday, May 31 at JOB 1 Business and Career Solutions Center at 1530 Thalia St.
Wal-Mart’s store at 1901 Tchoupitoulas St. is extending its hours of operation and opening more departments.
Interviews will be conducted for the following positions: evening cashier/ $8.40 per hour; second shift in-stock person/ $8.40 per hour; overnight in-stock person/ $9.40 per hour; and deli worker/ $8.60 per hour. All positions listed include company benefits.
Wal-Mart will train for all listed positions. Applicants must be at least 18 years old, must be able to stand for long periods and bend, stoop and climb stepladders to reach merchandise.
All positions are for evening shifts - full time and part time.
