BATON ROUGE – Area employers with immediate job openings will meet with jobseekers at the Bon Carré Job Fair, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, May 19 at Bon Carré Center at 7169 Florida Blvd.
The job fair is sponsored by the office of Baton Rouge Mayor-President Melvin L. “Kip” Holden, the Workforce Investment Administration and the Baton Rouge Career Solutions Centers.
Businesses scheduled to participate include: Nerjyzed Entertainment, Harmony Spirit, Louisiana Health & Rehabilitation, Baton Rouge Job Recruiting, Elayn Hunt Correctional, Louisiana Correctional Institute for Women, City Parish Human Resource, PEC Premier, PSC Hydro Blasting, Northrop Grumman Corporation, Harmony Center, Inc., East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff’s Office, Volunteers of America, The Road Home Program, Shaw Martin Staffing, LA Center for Workforce Recovery, The Home Depot, Louisiana State Penitentiary, Cox Communications, Mary Bird Perkins, Lofton Staffing & Security Services, Worknet Staffing, Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality and Louisiana National Guard.
The job fair is free and open to the public. Jobseekers should come dressed for interviews.
