Baton Rouge Veterans Job Fair set for April 5

BATON ROUGE –Job and career opportunities will await military veterans who attend the Baton Rouge Veterans Job Fair, sponsored by the Louisiana Department of Labor, from 8:30 a.m. to noon Thursday, April 5 at the American Legion, Nicholson Post #38 at 151 S. Wooddale Blvd.

“We will have a large, diverse group of employers participating this year,” said Bob Hartman, local veterans employment representative with the labor department. “They have chosen to participate because they know veterans bring maturity and responsibility to the workplace.
