New Iberia Job Fair set for April 5

NEW IBERIA – Area employers representing a variety of industries will recruit workers at the New Iberia Job Fair, from 9 a.m. to noon, Thursday, April 5 at the Sliman Theater at 125 E. Main St.

The job fair is sponsored by the Louisiana Department of Labor. It is free and open to the public. The employees facing layoff from Morton Salt in Weeks Island have also been invited to attend.

Employers scheduled to attend include: City of New Iberia; Cajundome; Specialty Rental Tools; WillStaff Worldwide; Doerle Food Service; Teche Federal;Weiser Security; Agbayani Construction; Parker Drilling; Energy Cranes; Halliburton; Woodmen of the World; Baldwin Redi-Mix; Preventive Maintenance; McIlhenny Company; C&S Safety Systems; Rescare; UL-Lafayette – New Iberia Research Center; Spherion Staffing; Callfree Media Technology, Inc.; Louisiana. Machinery Co.; Alpha Omega Electrical Services; Ernest P. Breaux Electrical; Bruce Foods.
