WALKER – Employers will be recruiting workers and offering job hunting tips at the Livingston Parish Job Fair Thursday, March 29 at the Livingston Parish Literacy & Technology Center, 9261 Florida Blvd.
The Livingston Parish Job Fair is targeted to jobseekers ages 16 and over. Area businesses and civic leaders organized the event with a vision that most residents will soon live and work in Livingston Parish.
The fair, to be held from 11 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., will include a résumé writing seminar, résumé critiques and mock interview sessions. A panel of employers will provide tips on making successful job searches.
Jobseekers should bring copies of their résumé, any letters of recommendation and documentation or proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
