Bossier City Veterans’ Job Fair to Feature More than 90 Employers

BOSSIER CITY – The 9th Annual Northwest Louisiana Veterans’ Job and Resource Fair, featuring more than 90 employers, will be held Thursday, May 22, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Bossier Civic Center, 620 Benton Road in Bossier City.

The event is open exclusively to veterans’ and active duty military from 10 a.m. to noon. The general public is invited to participate from noon to 2 p.m. There is no cost to attend.

Job seekers should to dress professionally, bring résumés and be prepared to interview.

Sponsored by the Coordinating and Development Corp., City of Bossier, City of Shreveport and the Louisiana Workforce Commission, the annual Northwest Veterans’ Job Fair attracts hundreds of veteran and active duty military job seekers and employers.
