Governor announces $40 million workforce incentive program
LWC, LED, Higher Ed partnership to prepare students for high demand jobs

Today, Governor Bobby Jindal announced a funding increase for higher education including a new $40 million higher education workforce incentive that will better prepare Louisiana students for high demand jobs. The collaboration between the Louisiana Workforce Commission, Louisiana Economic Development and higher education institutions rewards colleges that prepare students for high-demand jobs employers need to fill to grow the state economy.
