Roughly 135 high-paying jobs to be filled at Methanex job fair

A job fair will be held for Methanex Corp., which is looking to hire workers for a new methanol production facility in Geismar that will open by the end of 2014.

The job fair will be held Thursday, April 25, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. at Lamar Dixon Expo Center, 9039 St. Landry Road, Gonzales.

Methanex seeks to build a team of 135 permanent, full-time individuals. These high-skilled and high-paying jobs are for a variety of positions around the plant. Applicants should bring a résumé, be prepared to interview and plan to be at the job fair for at least two hours.
