Jackson Barracks Job Fair
Event celebrates area veterans, employers looking to hire will participate

More than 30 area employers with positions to fill will participate in the Jackson Barracks Job Fair, geared specially for military veterans looking for work.

Veteran job seekers looking to join or return to the workforce are encouraged to attend the hiring event Thursday, Nov. 15, from 10 a.m. to 2 pm at the Jackson Barracks Military Museum, Building 4209 located at 6400 St. Claude Ave., New Orleans.

Businesses representing a variety of industries, including some seeking to fill immediate openings, will participate. Job seekers should dress for an interview, bring identification and rsum copies.

The job fair is sponsored by Jackson Barracks in conjunction with local Louisiana Workforce Commission's Business & Career Solutions Centers.
