Capitol Region Employers Wanted for ‘Gen X, Y and Z’ Job Fair
Petrochemical, manufacturing, industry and health care fields sought

The Louisiana Workforce Commission is partnering with U.S. Rep. Bill Cassidy for a job fair geared to assist multiple generations of Louisiana job seekers looking for career opportunities.

The 2012 Jobs Fair: Including Jobs for Generations X, Y and Z will take place Thursday, May 3, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Baton Rouge Marriott, 5500 Hilton Avenue, Baton Rouge.

Employers seeking to fill positions in the petrochemical, manufacturing, heavy industry and health care fields, as well as other sectors are encouraged to participate. Event organizers also are inviting companies who provide job search resources, information and expertise to participate in this unique inter-generational job fair.

This job fair is offered at no cost to employers, participating groups or job seekers. Employers are required to register by Friday, April 27, in order to reserve free booth space, which is limited.

The event is sponsored by Congressman Cassidy, who represents Louisiana's Sixth Congressional District in the House of Representatives. Cassidy is committed to providing and creating jobs for the Baton Rouge community. He is a lifelong public servant, physician, teacher, community leader, husband and father.

For more information or to register, contact Ms. Dale Marioneaux with Cassidy’s Baton Rouge office at 225-929-7711.
