A job fair will be held Tuesday, April 10, for Coushatta Casino Resort, which is looking to hire employees for its new casino hotel in Kinder, as well as for other areas of the company.
The event, co-sponsored by the Louisiana Workforce Commission, will take place from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Northwest Community Center, 501 Samuel Drive, Eunice. The recruiting event is free and open to the public.
Some of the available positions and departments with openings include table games and slots, cage cashier, food and beverage, maintenance, electrician, laundry and housekeeping, security officer, porters and bellhops, valet, guest service, marketing, information technology, hospitality, retail, and managerial staff. Applicants must be at least 18 and bring a valid driver’s license. Job seekers are encouraged to bring an updated résumé, although it is not required. While there, applicants will be asked to complete an employment application, and should be prepared for an opportunity to interview with a company representative and take a pre-employment drug screen.
