Notice of Public Hearing on Substantive Changes to the Proposed Utilization Review Rules

Notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be held by the Louisiana Workforce Commission on Thursday, March 22, 2012, 9 A.M., at the LWC Administrative Office Auditorium, located at 1001 N. 23rd St., Baton Rouge. The public hearing will be held to announce substantive changes to the proposed utilization review rules for workers’ compensation.

The proposed amendment to the utilization review rules, will establish the process and procedures by which utilization review is conducted in light of the recently enacted La. R.S. 23:1203.1, which mandates the use of a medical treatment schedule.

The public and interested parties are invited to attend.
