Job Fair for Skilled Craft Workers Set for Dec. 15

A job fair will be held Thursday, Dec. 15, in Tallulah to recruit skilled craft workers for Bollinger Marine Fabricators (BMF), a new construction division of Bollinger Shipyards, Inc. located in Amelia.

The fair, which is sponsored by the Louisiana Workforce Commission’s Richland Business and Career Solutions Center and the City of Tallulah, will be held from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. at the Tallulah Community Center, 800 North Beach St., Tallulah.

BMF is expanding its total workforce by approximately 100 skilled craft workers and has an immediate need for ship fitters, pipe fitters, outfitters, structural welders and pipe welders.
