Job Fair for Route Delivery Drivers Set for July 29 in Bossier City

BOSSIER CITY – A job fair will be held Friday, July 29, in Bossier City to recruit route delivery drivers for Core-Mark Industries.

The event, which is sponsored by the Louisiana Workforce Commission, will be held from 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. at the Bossier Business and Career Solutions Center, 4000 Viking Drive, B-1, Bossier City.

Core-Mark will be interviewing and hiring for Class A CDL route driver positions. Route drivers will be responsible for the timely and safe delivery of grocery products with 7 - 10 stops per day to customers throughout Louisiana. Additional duties include unloading products and picking up returns as needed via ramp and hand truck, keeping tractor and trailers clean, and maintaining current DOT and DVR logs. Work week is Monday - Friday; home most evenings.

Applicants must be at least 21 years of age with a valid Class A commercial driver’s license, have one year of driving experience and a high school diploma or equivalent. Salary is $48,000 - $55,000 per year depending on experience. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced beverage delivery drivers.
