Workforce Investment Areas 40 and 41, BRING’s Emerging Workforce Subcommittee, St. Landry Drug Court and Louisiana Technical College at T. H. Harris

Job fair will be for people on probation or parole, those who were previously incarcerated, Strategies to Empower People (STEP) participants and veterans who are looking for both professional and non-professional job opportunities. Area employers will be on hand to accept résumés and speak to applicants. In addition, workshops will be held on expungement, résumé/online application, interviewing skills/mock interviews, social services and job readiness. Job seekers should bring two forms of identification and copies of their résumés to be critiqued by staff members. Generic application forms and mini résumé cards may be obtained at the St. Landry Business and Career Solutions Center or the St. Landry Drug Court.
