The town hall meeting will feature discussions on a wide variety of issues with community leaders from throughout the state, including breakout sessions on topics such as education, the family, employment options and being a self advocate, financial literacy, civil rights, the role of senior citizens in the community, and ways to strengthen the community. Representatives from the LWC’s Disability Program Navigator Initiative will offer a session titled “How to Work and Not Lose Your Check,” with a focus on informing people with disabilities about employment options and self advocacy.
