As part of the Diversity Works Job Fair, an employer mini-symposium will provide participating businesses with information on a variety of employment-related topics. Employers will also receive a complimentary breakfast.

The job fair will follow the mini-symposium. The Diversity Works Job Fair is designed to connect job-ready individuals with disabilities with local employers looking to hire. The Job Fair has put talented job seekers in direct contact with potential employers.

The Diversity Works Job Fair is FREE to anyone but especially geared for job seekers with disabilities. The Job Fair also provides an excellent venue for employers looking to diversify their workforce and opportunity to meet face-to-face with job seekers with disabilities and to learn about their talents.

Since 1945, Congress has nationally designated October as National Disability Employment Awareness Month in an effort to educate the public about disability and employment. This year’s official theme is "Expect. Employ. Empower." The national theme reflects the reality that people with disabilities have the education, training, experience and desires to be successful in the workplace.
