Recruitment and customized hiring events are held quarterly at the Calcasieu Business and Career Solutions Center for employers and job seekers. Pre-registration for job seekers will start Monday, Sept. 10. Job seekers should dress professionally, bring résumé copies and be prepared to interview with employers looking to hire. Employers are asked to please be prepared to stay for the duration of the event. Companies already set to participate include Isle of Capri, PTI, Coast Guard Reserve, FedEx Ground, Coastal Staffing, Market Basket, Kroger, US Foods, Lowes, Brock Group, Ameristar Casinos, Capital One, Wal-Mart, Plumbers & Steamfitters Apprenticeship, Global Management Enterprise, Delta Downs, Sam’s, Shaw, Carboline, Topcor, Weiser Security, Job Corp, Primerica and Blake International.
