  1. How do I get a password?

    You will establish your login identity and password upon your first visit to the Internet application. In addition to creating your password, you must answer a question to assure protection of your tax information from unauthorized users.

  2. What happens if I forget my password and/or State ID number? Change my password?

    You will be able to retrieve your password if you can answer the question asked for security purposes. If account lockout occurs, you will be asked to contact the Department of Labor to have the account unlocked.

  3. Must I file every quarter by the Internet?

    This Internet application is another option available to employers for filing wage and tax reports for state unemployment. Filing each quarter by way of the Internet is optional. You will continue to receive your Quarterly Report of Wages Paid (form LDOL ES.4) by mail each quarter.

  5. How soon can I enter my wage and tax information?

    You can file your wage and tax information as early as the first day the quarter is due.

  6. Are there time constraints when choosing to file and pay online?

    The application is available 24 hours; however, if you choose to file the report and make an electronic payment, you must transmit your payment by the 1: 00 p.m. CST cutoff time. Transmittals received after 1:00 p.m. will be effective the next bank business day.
