The Louisiana Apprenticeship Action Clinic, the first of its kind to be hosted in this state, took place October 27 - 29, 2009. This energetic clinic hosted eight teams from across the state to work together to develop regional action plans that addressed implementation, integration and coordination needs and issues relating to registered apprenticeship.
This resulted in team-developed "game plans" that detailed strategies for achieving their goals for advancing registered apprenticeship opportunities, which will benefit area job seekers and employers through coordinated efforts. These action plans were taken back home, with follow-up meetings and action items already scheduled and in progess. The following documents proved to be the most valuable for attendees, including powerpoint presentations given by our esteemed guests.
